It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard James Bolick of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cicero and Zula Mae McKinney Bolick; his wife Ruth Elizabeth Bowman Bolick; and his siblings, Edith Isenhour, Lena Belle Moretz of Bethlehem and Floyd Bolick of Hickory.
He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Bolick (Vicki) of Cartersville, GA, Phillip Bolick of Bethlehem and Rodney Bolick (Janet) of Bethlehem; his grandson Andrew (Candace); his son Nathan Bolick (Ana) of Bethlehem; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Malaya and Cade of Bethlehem; his godson Bryan Chamberlain of Raleigh; and his friends, Phil, Donna Chamberlain, Nick, Will, Cheryl Satterfield, Jane Bailey, Wendell Cramer and Barney Barnes. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and their families; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 9042 NC Hwy 127, Hickory, NC 28601.
