He is survived by: his wife Peggy Gillian Hudson; his daughters, Carolyn Hudson of Hickory and Barbara Hefner (Gary) of Newton; his grandson Tyler Hefner (Elizabeth) of Apex; his great grandchildren, Peyton Hefner and Gaither Hefner; and his brother Fred Hudson of Hickory.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
