It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Ira Lockhart (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Princeton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Laura B. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Lockhart; his children, Laura Lockhart of Charlotte, NC, Jackie Lockhart (Geitner Simmons) of Lincoln and Kenneth Lockhart of Hickory, NC; and his grandchildren, Harry Simmons of Omaha and Lucy Simmons of Portland, Oregon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
