He is survived by: his wife Gloria Saleria Carey; his children, Marlin, Deitruss, Alphonso, Robert D, Rodney, Donelle, Michael (Regina), Jonathan (Sonya), Ellis, Kim, Monda, Stacey, Tracey, Jacqueline, Tenisha and Shontae; and his siblings, Shelby Carey of Dearborn, MI, Patricia Carey of VanBuren, MI and Janice Spellman of Palmyra, VA.
