He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Schyler Huffman and Laura Anderson Huffman; his wife Betty Berry Huffman; and his siblings, Roy Huffman, Robert Huffman and Ruth Austin.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Huffman (Robin) of Newton, Audrey Pope of Conover and Sherry Miller (Dean) of Conover; his grandchildren, Shannon Brown, Keesha Bolick, Justin Huffman, Jessica Huffman and Hunter Miller; and his great grandchildren, Kristian Brown, Hayden Bellamy, Amara Bellamy, Kolton Huffman and Kaylee Brown.
