As James Leroy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Leroy. Though James Leroy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Ellis, Dorothy Wilfong and Ronald Wilfong; and his cousin Deborah Wilfong. He is survived by: his goddaughter Phyillis Michaux (Ty Michaux) of Hickory, NC.; his cousins, Carol Wilfong of Charlotte, NC., Denise Wilfong of Hickory, NC., Glen Wilfong of Hickory, NC. and Bobby Ray of Newton, NC.; and his close friends, David Williams of Conover, NC. and Carolyn Williamson of Hickory, NC.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
