He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Madison; his son Dexter Nathaniel Burch Sr.; and his grandson Dexter Nathaniel Burch Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Harbinson Burch; his daughters, Carrie Haggins (Jerome) and Gloria Anderson (Michael Martin) of Hickory; his brothers, Napoleon Burch of Catawba and Calvin Burch of Hickory; and his granddaughter Tanyana Linder of Hickory. He is also survived by four other grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
