We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2020, at the age of 67, Janice Gordon Booher of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Dante, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Neece and Flossie Phillips Neece; her former husband Frank Gordon; her husband Fred Booher; and her siblings, Andrew, Larry Neece, Imogene Neece and Wanda Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Tina Gordon Metts (Don) of Hickory and James Clyde Gordon of Goshen, Virginia; her grandchildren, Isaiah and Skylair Pannell of Hickory; and her siblings, Rickey S. Neece (Diana) of Dante, Virginia, Eddie L. Neece (Mary) of Dante, Virginia and Penny N. Mirtsching (Richard) of Vale.

Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Janice Gordon Booher will be conducted at 1:00 p. m. Saturday, August 15, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Darrell Milgrim and Rev. Jerry Estep officiating.
