It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Harold Withers of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin D. R. Withers and Patricia Elizabeth Newton Withers; his sister JoAnn Savory; and his nephew David Darty. He is survived by : his children, Josh Withers of Hickory, Jay Withers, Jr. of Hickory and Samantha Hubbard (Donnie Walker); and his brother James Withers of Connelly Springs.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gloryland Baptist Church (109 Old State Hwy 10 W, Hildebran, NC 28637).
