It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Bollinger of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Bollinger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thornton Boyce and Gladys Wommack Boyce; and her husband Robert Bollinger. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Schon (Bob) of Hickory, Louis Phelps (Janet) of Durham and Scott Phelps of Hickory; her stepchildren, Michael Bollinger of Hickory and Cheryl Hedrick of Hickory; and her brother Ray Boyce (Helen) of Woodstock Georgia. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
