She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Mull and NoraSercy Mull; her husband James Filmore Gibbs; and her brothers, John Henry Mull and Rex Mull.
She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Ray Gibbs (Faith) of Hickory and James Arthur Gibbs (Jimmy) of Hickory; her sister Hattie Mull Benfield of Morganton; her grandchildren, Jordan Gibbs, Brandon Gibbs, Gavin Gibbs, Corben Gibbs, Cole Fuller, Payton Gibbs, Alexis Gibbs and Christopher Dutton; and her great grandchild Serenity Azalea Gibbs.
