He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Royal Higgs (Steve) of Hickory; his brother Greg Royal (Patricia) of Wilkes; his grandchildren, Melanie, Cameron, Aleah and Nate; his stepgranddaughter Haley; his great grandchildren, Briley, Jaelynn and Rheala; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Nyla and Debbie.
