He was predeceased by: his parents, June Burton Leatherman and Margaret Correll Leatherman; his wife Margaret Huffman Leatherman; and his son Gary W. Leatherman. He is survived by: his grandsons, Ashton Leatherman of Charlotte and Josh Johnson (Jhenifer) of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
