Jimmy C. Franklin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy C. Franklin of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alex Franklin and Myrtle Jane Mace; his wife Alice Franklin; and his siblings, Ray Franklin, George Allen Franklin, Bill Franklin, Boyd Franklin, Nettie Heffner and Dorothy Huffman.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Franklin and Jane Corley (Gary); his grandchildren, Jenna Corley, Aiden Caviness and Adia Caviness; and his sister Jean Ervin. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jimmy's favorite charity, St Jude's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
