It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Wayne Fulbright Sr. of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Benjamin and Rosa Mae Campbell Fulbright; his son Nathan Daniel Fulbright; and his siblings, Robert Fulbright, Doris Warden, Ann Noe and Mattie Stuart.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Wayne Fulbright Jr. of Newton, Bradley Scott Ham (Kendra) of Conover and Rosa Jean Fulbright of Maiden; his siblings, Benny Fulbright (Edna) of Vale and Ruth Hall (Gerald) of Catawba; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Luke, Lyndsie, Emma, Mackenzie and Brianna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Conover School, 108 7th St. Pl.
