We are sad to announce that, on October 18, 2022, at the age of 57, John Michael Franckauser of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Steubenville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franckhauser and Betty Andrews Franckhauser; and his siblings, Bill Franckhauser and Peggy Sterling. He is survived by: his wife Tara Franckhauser; his children, Ella Franckhauser (John Willis), Mia "Remy" Franckhauser and Nick Franckhauser; his grandson Nathan Willis; and his sisters, Patricia Baker and Karen Tomsic. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends who were always his extended family.
