It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Silas Wade II (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Silas Wade and Aurelia Pedigo Wade. He is survived by: his wife Linda Black Wade (Virginia); his children, John Silas Wade III (Anne Wade) and Sharon Wade Beaumont (Jesse Beaumont); his grandchildren, Laney Wade, Olivia Beaumont, Natalie Beaumont, Ethan List and Emma List; his nieces, Janice Eagle (KC Coultrup), Alexis Katz and Julia Riley Katz; and his nephew Harrison Katz.
