He was predeceased by: his parents, John Williams Cowan and Erika Cowan. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Saul (Sascha); his grandchildren, Emerson and Beckett of Raleigh, NC; his son David Cowan (Aimee); his grandchildren, Adelaide and Cailin of Bethlehem, PA; his significant other Tammy Beck; his significant other's child Jamen (Michelle) of Raleigh, NC; and his sister Erika Cowan of New Jersey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
