He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Cole and John Cole. He is survived by: his significant other Christine Parker; his children, Jason Cole, Jared Cole (Kristin) and Erica Conner (Cody); his grandchildren, Kaydence Cole, Kaitlynn Cole, Jalen Cole, Aleigha Cole, Noah Cole, Karlee Cole, Adalyn Cole, Kamryn Cole, Elijah Jordan, Logan Jordan, Josiah Jordan, Jaxson Jordan and Brody Conner; his brothers, Eric Cole (Amy) and Brett Cole (Renee); and his nephews, Dylan Cole and Tyler Cole.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba County Humane Society.
