It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Pratte of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Lou. He is survived by: his children, Kyle, Bill Herbein and Kris Pratte; and his grandchildren, Kate Herbein Crater (Brandon Crater) and Roberts Hebein (Sarah Herbein). He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren.
