She was predeceased by: her father Foy Travis; her husband Robert McKinney; and her son Steve McKinney. She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Sheehan (Danny) of Auburndale, FL; her grandchildren, Natasha McCarson (Marc) of Columbia, SC, Rosalyn Pitts (Brandon) of Gresham, SC, Kylee Whittington (Brian) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Chad McKinney (Anette) of Hickory and Tyler McKinney (Cassey) of Conover; and her sister Pam Hand (Bobby) of Taylorsville. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
