She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Ross Kennedy and Lena Bolick Kennedy; her former husband Robert Louis Drum; her husband William Andrew McClure; and her siblings-in-law, Russell Aubrey Peterson Jr., Lynda Drum Peterson, Russell "Corky" Parker Kennedy, Jr., Nancy Drum Kennedy and Catherine Kennedy.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Ross Drum Chilton (Gary) of Advance, NC; her granddaughter Abigail Joyce Chilton of Raleigh, NC; and her brother Larry Nolan Kennedy of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Ministry at Viewmont Baptist Church, 1246 2nd Street, NE, Hickory, NC 28601 or a Hospice facility of one's choice.
