She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Teague and Bessie Godfrey Carswell; her husband Jimmy McKinney; and her siblings, Betty Stowe, Ruth Mingus, Juanita Yount, Jack Carswell and Bud Carswell.
She is survived by: her son Michael Eckard (Christine Song) of Hickory; and her granddaughter Victoria Eckard of California.
