He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Evans (Lanora) of Hickory and Raymond Houser of Statesville; his siblings, Bobby Evans (Julie) of Lincolnton, Lizzie Henderson of Lincolnton, Betty E. Tinsley (Albert) of Lincolnton and Mary E. Bines of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Kyllaila Evans (Quinton) of Charlotte, Xzaiver Smith of Hickory, Raheem Littlejohn of Hickory, Carrie Pearson of Charlotte, Terrance Watkins of Charlotte, Miles Evans of Los Angeles, Marcus Houser of Kentucky and Aaron Sigmon of Claremont; and his friend Betty Houser of Conover. He is also survived by 9 great- grandchildren.
