It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Anne Hemphill of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Richard William Hemphill; and her children, Richard Julius Hemphill of Hickory, Maurice Hemphill of Lenoir and Consetta Evette McCluney of Spartanburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
