She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Whisnant; her daughters, Andrea Whisnant Deitz, Karen Woody (Gary), Robin Whisnant Wooten (James) and Beth Whisnant Eller; her grandchildren, Chandra, Megan, Ryan, Hannah, Corey and Lindsay; and her sibling's children, Sharon, Julanne and Kenneth. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
