She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Waldo Curtis and Annie Lucille Craig Curtis; her grandmother Maw Craig; her aunt Virginia Curtis; her uncle James Craig; and her son-in-law Kris Lowman.
She is survived by: her daughter Mandy Lowman of Hickory; her siblings, Mike Curtis (Jill) of Hickory, Becky Justice (Rick) of Rhodhiss and Gary Curtis (Sherry) of Rutherfordton; her aunt Georgia McDaris of Granite Falls; her uncle Clarence Curtis of Lenior; and her grandchildren, Jessica Lowman (Aaron Robbins) of Hudson and Tristan Lowman of Hickory. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Celebration Center at Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658).
