She is survived by: her friend Evelyn Willis; her daughter Shelly Truitt; her son-in-law Jeff Truitt; her son Darren Dickinson (Melanie Dickinson); her grandsons, Spencer Dickinson, Josh and Jacob Truitt; her great grandchildren, Marley and Cuyler; her nieces, Beth Phillips (Jeremy), Sherry Parkhurst and Louann Stamey; and her nephew Gary Kiser (Tina).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658).
