He was predeceased by: his parents, William Monroe Propst and Goldie Keller Propst Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fulbright Propst; his children, Elaine Propst, Dena Propst of Hickory, William Propst of Hickory and Clay Propst of Hickory; his grandchildren, Caitlan Propst, Matthew Townsend, Jordan, Jake Willis, Riley, Alanna Propst, Gaige Propst, Logan Propst, Olivia Propst and Collyns Propst; and his sisters, Kay Whitesell (Steve) of Gastonia and Rita Floyd (Ben) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
