He is survived by: his parents, William Duane Hooton and Betty Hendricks Hooton of Hickory; his children, Micah Glenn Hooton of Bolivia, NC, Connor Duane Hooton of Bolivia, NC and Kadence Ann Hooton of Bolivia, NC.; his sister Debbie Hooton Cline (Ted) of Vale; the mother of his children Melissa Hooton of Bolivia, NC; his nephew Christopher Scott Burton of Vale; his great-nephew Christian Scott Burton of Vale; his aunts and uncles, Bob, Anne Hooton of Conover, Tom, Debbie Hartsock of Mount Holly, Van, Ann, Bill and Joann Yarbrough of Ellijay, GA.; and his cousins, Tricia Dolin, Tammy Bridges, Mathew Hartsock, Mandy Padgett, Zach Padgett, Colby Moss, Van Padgett, Jr., Bill Yarbrough, Jr., Dana Henson, David Hooton and Scott Hooton.
