It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Clinton White of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Lee White and Ida Mae White (Hawkins); his brothers, James White (Jim) and William White (Bill); his nephew Mark White; and his sister-in-law Bernice White.
He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Merrill of Woodbridge, VA; his niece Tamera Merrill of Waxhaw, NC; his nephew Roger White of Granite Falls; his uncle Robert Hawkins; his aunt Dorothy; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Margaret Roper of Hickory, Amanda Milsaps of Hickory, Jason White of Hickory, Andrew White of Hickory and Major Steven White; and his close friends, Wanda Cordova and Sylvia Savage.
