He is survived by: his children, Brandi Lanham (Jennifer) of Lewiston, ME, Amber Roberts (Bradley) of Maiden, NC, Jami Whorley (Chris) of Marion, NC, Tonya Lowman (Justin) of Connelly Springs, NC, Sonya Rivera of Gastonia, NC and Cory Morgan of Hickory, NC.; his grandchildren, Ethan James, Justin Bumgardner (Alexus), Kylie Bumgardner, Trinity Bumgardner, Aydden Roberts, Austin Hyler, Mackenzie Lowman, Riley Lowman, Rachel Teeters, Erasmo Rivera and Sophia Rivera; and his great grandchildren, Cali Bumgardner, Remington James and Grayson James.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abernethy Laurels in Newton, NC in Larry's name.
