He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hatley and Ruth Payne Hatley; his siblings, Edward, Elizabeth (Leroy), Mark and Rosa (Ronnie); his brother-in-law Roger; and his niece Lisa Owens.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Hatley of Hickory, Rebecca Rink of Hickory, Gary Hatley (Martha) of Taylorsville, Ray Hatley (Norma) of Villas and Janet Presnell (Randall) of Villas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
