We announce the death of Lloyd Connelly Shook of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phaniel H. Shook and Lucille B. Shook. He is survived by: his wife Juda Hartsoe Shook; his sons, Terry Pate (Lynn), Scott Shook (Tammy) and Brett Shook (Angela); and his brother Dale Shook (Donna). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (2160 35th Ave Dr NE, Hickory, NC 28601).
