With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Sharpe Jr. of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lonnie Paul Sharpe Sr. and Georgia Campbell; his wife Dianne Sharpe; and his children, Jamie Hensley, Jason Sharpe, Michael Stewart and Gene Stewart (Suzanne).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winkler's Grove Baptist Church.
