In the vast expanse of eternity, Louanna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Louanna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bryant and Jolene Canipe Bryant. She is survived by: her daughters, Shea Sluder (Marc) of Connelly Springs and Katheryne Pennington (Chris) of Franklin, Wisconsin.; her sister Susan Bryant McGee (Gary) of Conover; and her pet Gizmo. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Catawba County Humane Society in Louanna's memory, in honor of her lifelong love for animals.
