She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Odell Patterson and Bertha Iola Payne Patterson. She is survived by: her son Eric Martin Patterson of Hickory; her siblings, Kay Patterson of Conover, Judith Patterson Keller (Luther) of Hickory, Byron Douglas Patterson (Barbara) of Hickory and Roger Dale Patterson of Conover; and her stepdaughter Connie Hendrix Nicholson of HIckory. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
