He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Bolch and Willie Hollar Bolch; his wife Mary Huffman Bolch; and his sisters, Janie Fox and Elizabeth Hobbs.

He is survived by: his children, Tim Bolch (Karla) of Hickory, Dana Bolch Roberts (Jack) of Granite Falls and Sharon Bolch Voorhees (Richard) of Conover. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
