She was predeceased by: her husband Michael McDaniel; her parents, Elmer Robert and Clara Roemer Schneiter; and her sister Dorothy Schneiter MacNaughton. She is survived by: her brother George Schneiter; her son John McDaniel (Barbara) of Hickory; and her grandchildren, Katherine McDaniel (Eric Clack), Andrew McDaniel and Christine McDaniel.
