She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred and Minnie Herman Setzer; her daughter Brandy Bowman; and her siblings, Carrie West, Catherine Cruse, Ruby Setzer, Annie Huffman, James Setzer, Richard Setzer, Grover Setzer and Tom Setzer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Megan Bowman of Hickory and Erica Bowman (Kyle Settlemyer) of Newton; her grandchildren, Abigail Galligher of Hickory, Elaina Settlemyer of Newton, Colton Galligher of Hickory, Jayden Bowman of Newton and Anthony Bowman of Newton; and her brothers, Lewis Setzer (Lala) of Hickory and Robert Setzer (Gloria) of Granite Falls. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
