We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Mary Alice Peeler (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bolick and Elexie Martin Bolick; her former husband James C. Winkler; her son Gerald A. Winkler; and her grandson Sean Winkler.

She is survived by: her son David A. Winkler (Angie) of Hickory; her sister Ellen Bolick Alexander; her granddaughters, Mandy Sherrill (Lance) and Crissee Mackie (Keith); her great grandchild Devon Sherrill; her sibling's children, Sandy Patterson (Michael) of Gastonia and Dana Nelson (Marie); and her cousin Richard "Dick" Bolick of Conover.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Village, 1265 21st St NE Hickory, NC 28601 or Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Rd Newton, NC 28658.
