We are sad to announce that, on January 31, 2026, at the age of 78, Mary Ann Gregory of Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Pittman and Doris Blanche Pittman; and her sister Susan Pittman Torchia of Chicago, IL.. She is survived by: her husband Jim H. Gregory; and her brothers, Thomas Pittman (Tina) of Jasper, GA and Wesley Pittman (Elizabeth) of Brattleboro, VT.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
