It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Catherine (Parker) Morgan of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Parker; her husband James Lester Morgan; her children, Barbara Lynn and James Michael Morgan; and her grandchildren, Jackie Lynn Dobbs and Jeffrey Lynn.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ruby Catherine Barlow (Curtis), Edna Miller (Mickey), Shirley Morgan and Vickie Morgan; and her son-in-law Jack Lynn of Hickory. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
