She is survived by: her children, Brenda Hicks Haddock of Virginia Beach and Bedford Brantley Hicks, Jr. (Patricia) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Crystal Andrews of Virginia Beach, Bedford Brantley Hicks, III (Christina) of Lenoir and Michael Hicks (Mindy) of Granite Falls; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Andrews, Madelyn Andrews, McKenzie Hicks, Abigail Hicks and Huntley Hicks.
