She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Starr of Raleigh; her grandson Brett Starr of Hickory; and her siblings, Margie Holder (Bill) of Hickory, Glenn Hoke (Judy) of Hickory and Tommy Hoke of Hickory. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
