She was predeceased by: her parents, Thad Martin and Ruby Fowler Martin; her husband Neil Brawley; her former husband Ronald Guthrie; her close friend George McManus; and her pet Angel.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Brawley (Amy) of Lenoir and Andrea Bolick (Jeremy) of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Cierra Goin (Keso) of Granite Falls, Kaitlyn Garner (Ryan) of Columbia, SC and Jiles Bolick of Granite Falls; her stepdaughter Susan McGee (Rob); her stepgrandchildren, Brandy, Ashley and Robbie of Connelly Springs; her stepdaughters, Patti Guthrie and Betty Giles of Morganton; and her close friends, Christine and Lori. She is also survived by six step- great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss (200 Park Ave, Rhodhiss, NC 28667).
