Mildred Hollifield Brown Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 21, 2023, at the age of 91, Mildred Hollifield Brown of Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Aaron and Hattie Dale Hollifield; her husband Kenneth W. Brown Sr.; and her son Kenneth W. Brown Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Powell and Denise Brown of Hickory; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Brown of Green Acres, WA; her grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Stefanie Fisher) of Hickory, Johnathon Smith of Bowie, MD, Ashley Brown (Stacy) of New Bern, NC and Aaron Brown (Elise) of Green Acres, WA; and her great grandchildren, Vayden Smith, Ashlyn, Ava Brown, Adelaide and Shelby Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
