She was predeceased by: her parents, David Henry and Blanche Baker Rock; her husband Carl Richard Patton Sr.; and her siblings, David A. Rock, James N. Rock, Charles W. Rock and Judith F. Cottrell.
She is survived by: her children, Carl "Richard" Patton Jr. (Tammy) of Morganton, Cecilia Patton of Maiden and Carla Patton Reep of Virginia; her sister Beverly Sue Osborne; and her grandchildren, James Reep, Melissa Patton Tindell (David), David Patton (Cassidy) and Anthony Patton. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
