She was predeceased by: her parents, S. A. McCrary and Lola Mae McCrary; and her sister Linda Collins. She is survived by: her husband Carrol Randal Woodie Sr.; her children, Carrol Randal Woodie Jr. of Hickory, Rebecca "Becky" Elam (Ken) of Christiansburg and Regina Dean (John) of Gainesville, Florida; and her grandsons, Brian Elam of Virginia and Harley Dean of Florida. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
