With sadness, we share the passing of Pat Hefner (Hickory, North Carolina). Pat, born on August 12, 1950, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Pat for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her husband David Richard Hefner; and her father Henry Walter Burns, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Carpenter (Trent); her grandson Andrew Carpenter (Taylor Hawes); her brothers, Henry W. Burns, Jr. and Phillip L. Burns (Rhonda); her niece Alexis Burns; and her nephew Jake Burns.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3010 US-70, Newton, NC 28658).
